Nellie Begley entered the Real Estate Industry in 1974 and sold residential property in Madera for a short time. 

The following year she joined Hughson & Swett in Fresno.  The company took her into their Industrial, Commercial and Agricultural department for training.  She became one of the first women to enter that field in Real Estate. Over the years she has managed property, sold cattle range land, field crop land, vineyards, almonds, pistachio, and development property for homes and commercial developments.
